Traditionally accounting and bookkeeping services are transactional – do the books, prepare the taxes, etc. Numbers in, numbers out, and you pay a fee.  But what about profit? I do not charge an hourly rate, and here’s why. The biggest issue with hourly billing is you have no idea how much the job will be until the bill is received. I don’t think that is fair on you. You deserve to know in advance how much the job will cost and what it entails. As a modern & progressive bookkeeper, I work with my clients to develop a package specifically tailored to their needs resulting in a fixed monthly price based on those needs.
That’s the beauty of hiring me, you don’t need any. I have a system in place that is so streamlined you will never have a shoebox of receipts to sort come tax season again. In fact, filing taxes will seem so easy you will wonder why you didn’t do this sooner.

Long answer, if you have an accountant that you are comfortable with, I am more than happy to collaborate with them at year need to ensure your numbers are filed correctly. If not, I’d be happy to refer you to a few accountants that are within my circle of trusted colleagues.
